I'm looking for a female vocalist to work on some tracks with me, with the ultimate aim to play live.
The style I envisage is early 80s electro. All parts will be played by retro synth sounds and drum machine.
I have been working with synths, drum machines and other music equipment for some time and just finished building a new studio setup which can also work well live. I have budget available for equipment and rehearsal room time as required.
I'm looking for somebody with a particularly strking, versatile voice who is willing and able to work on new tracks and also put time into rehearsing.
The initial intention is to build some obscure covers into the live set to pad it out, while gradually replacing them with our own songs, so if you have song ideas or songs that you would like to cover, that would be great.
I already have some of my own tracks that I can share with you to give you some idea about what the equipment is capable of.
