Welcome to the world of The Cut Throat Razors. A sharp dressed, Glasgow based, 10 piece band formed at the fag end of 2010 and have since filled dance floors from The Bongo Club in Edinburgh to Stereo in Glasgow. Their first album, ‘Dr Gelati and the Lemon Garden’ - released on the 15th December 2012 at Stereo in Glasgow when the band performed some of their songs with the Cairn String quartet - showcases their self-penned songs of love, lingerie, libation and liberation, backed up by a big punchy sound, evoking classic ska, motown, new wave, big band swing and polka. At times they are theatrical and comical and at others political and melancholic. This is the Cut Throat Razors. We hope that you will find us strangely unique, or perhaps, uniquely strange…..
