ABOUT

I am Dovehouse Hill — a masked artist building a serious, committed project rooted in atmosphere, emotion, and identity.

The mask is not a gimmick. It represents transformation, anonymity, and the separation between the self and the art. It allows the focus to remain where it belongs: on the sound, the mood, and the message. The project carries a visual and conceptual identity — dark, romantic, and immersive — designed to draw people in rather than simply perform at them.

Musically, the direction sits between shoegaze textures, post-punk drive, and gothic rock atmosphere, with an alternative edge. Think expansive walls of sound, melancholic melodies, reverb-heavy guitars, and a balance between beauty and tension. The intention is to create something cinematic and emotionally resonant, not just another standard guitar band.

I have previously worked with other musicians, but they are now committed to different paths and projects. As such, I am looking to form a new lineup of dedicated, reliable musicians who are ready to invest time, energy, and creativity into building something meaningful from the ground up.

This is not a casual jam project — the aim is to develop a cohesive band with a clear identity, record original material, and perform live. I have been the creative director visually I have produced / co produced a majority of the music I have ready to go, and want to explore eventually writing and recording together as it has been a very internal process.
