Hello, I''m a very creative, inventive and group-oriented guitarist, been playing for 35+ years to various degrees. i'm able to come up with riffs and songs on the fly and love to jam to write with others.
.i'd like to join a group, or maybe find a writing partner then to expand out into a group setting of like-minded serious muscians. .ideally originals as i don't fully understand covers when there's so much music to create, a couple of covers considered.
looking for fulfillment, hopefully some fun and something created along the way that can be recorded and gigged.
i feel i can offer something a little special..i play by feel, can fit in well and play whats needed..this to me has been important in developing as a musician.. i may take a little while to get warmed up but once there i can really play.. i have transport and a decent valve setup..willing to travel 10-15 miles from Marchwood/waterside for something that grabs me.

Influences

I like stuff that feeds and soothes the soul but can also make the room move...old R&B with a bit of grit...influences include Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Funkadelic and Sam Cooke. King Crimson, i also like Celtic music..Mark Knopfler, Mike Mcgoldrick, film music...this may seem like an odd mix :)
