Hi, I've been drumming for over 15 years, looking to turn professional and tour in an established originals or tribute act. Also open to a covers/wedding bands.

I earned a merit grade 7 in 2011 but that was just for the UCAS points, I've come a long way since then. Other experience includes percussion for bands and orchestras supporting musicals and amateur dramatics, a bit of session work and lots of recording for friends studying music degrees/creating original songs. My most recent project was just a covers / wedding band who played indie/pop (Arctic Monkeys, Killers, Kings of Leon etc). The pandemic put an end to that.
I can read sheet music but mostly play / learn by ear. I find can play pretty much everything I hear on the radio, but I'm no savant. That said the practice over pandemic has finally gotten me to a level where I feel I can understand and learn my absolute drumming idols, basically unless you're a Black Midi covers band we'll be fine!
Open to new original projects too but only if you fw my influences / are an avant gardener... I don't want to waste my time on a project that isn't trying to do something radical/fresh.

Musically omnivorous, I'm just a sponge for anything new or distinct, yet to find a genre I can't get into.
