We are an experienced band playing mainly weddings, balls and corporate. Our current line-up is 4-piece with male and female vocals, guitar, bass and drums. To augment this we currently record our own keyboard parts and play to a click but the time has come to ditch this and go 100% live!
We play pop and rock with a healthy dash of disco and soul, from 70s to present. The ideal person needs to be comfortable playing all styles and will need to be confident with brass/string parts as well as keys/piano. Prior experience and an ability to sing backing are bonuses but not essential, your keyboard skills are what we are after. You must have your own gear and transport.
We are looking to revamp our set with a greater focus on modern material but our last demo can be listened to here - https://soundcloud/disco-biscuits-band. Since these were recorded we have a fantastic new female singer and as soon as we find a keys player we will be heading into the studio again.
Age wise we range from late 20s to early 40s, and we practice once every week or two in Derby. We only take well paid gigs and our ideal level of busyness is a couple of gigs a month. If it sounds like your kind of thing please get in touch, we'd love to hear from you!
