I play Scottish (Shand-style) accordeon, and was taught to play steel guitar, hawaiian-style, by Charlie Taylor of the Blue Hawaiians.
Thinking of forming a retro-style band since the Hawaiian/Scottish mix proved very successful in the past, for hotel dinner-dance work, weddings, anniversaries and club work.
Typical bandmix : Me, Accoustic rythm guitar; keyboards, bass, drums + glam female vocalist specialising in ballads to front the band. Also good if rythm guitar can sing.
