Hi,
We are a drummer and a guitarist currently searching for a bassist to complete the back line of a progressive/alt metal band
The idea is to combine quieter, more atmospheric elements with heavier grinding riffs and try to arrange the song structures in a way that avoids the standard verse-chorus-verse arrangements, there are a lot of time signature changes being used as well
Once we have the background to several songs ready we would also be looking to add a vocalist
We've been passing recordings back and forth over google drive during lockdown and whilst we are now back in a practice room occasionally now this is still our primary writing method so being able to record DI parts to at least a demo standard is essential
Influences are varied but stylistically is not too dissimilar to Tool, A Perfect Circle, Opeth etc
