Started playing guitar in 1975 as a kid, had lessons taught to read music, played classic and acoustic guitar. Progressed to electric as a teenager played in bands from 1981 playing self penned originals and covers alike.
Played in pop, post punk and 11 piece soul function bands.

Influences
Originally influenced as a kid by glam rock and latter punk rock and post punk artists. Throughout the 80's I was keen on experimenting with the use of time delay devices such as flangers, chorus and delay. Moved into a more funk pop approach and developed a love of Delta Blues. Guitar influences would include Nile Rogers, Gary Sanford (Joe Jackson Band), Damian O'Neill (The Undertones) Jean-Marie Carroll (The Members). Very fond of Acoustic players such as Blind Blake, Ralph McTell, William Ackerman to name but a few.
