Hi ya , I am a guitarist into all sorts of music, I work on electro stuff (on Logic/Mac) and funk jazz and dub.. (did have a friday night dub jam band) , been a recording engineer for.. er well since I was 16 .. (and I am as old as Dr Who (and twice as imagey :) But my real love is progressive rock/blues.. don't wana stick to set songs (well without the choice of going of at tangents.... most of all it has to be exciting loud and heavy (at times), spacey and bluesy (at times), lots of progressive lead breaks and ad lib vocals.. my fav drummer is John Bonham, fav band is Led Zep, but into dance and funk grooves too.. Bit out of practice since the friday night band split... but I have rehearsal space that I can use in Hackney (with a simple drum kits and amps (from 8 till 10/(7-12 some nights) ... my idea is to start with just me and drums so we can flow any way the wind takes us... then add a bass player once we are in sync, then a vocalist.. I also have studio time at the place but just 2hrs a week in a small mac studio... but the idea is to get a good exciting jam band that can originals, dropping in covers (not necessarily the whole song or the way it was played.. if interested get in touch.. if nothing else it would be a good work out.
