I was vocally trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and had several years singing tuition before that. I was an actor and top tenor. However musical theatre was never a real passion of mine and the training I used to strengthen my vocals on long tours. Which then I would undo with chain smoking. Which has provided me with quite a raspy voice. But obviously as a trained actor I can manipulate my voice and have an excellent ear for singing impersonations. But what Id really like to do is collaborate on original songs played live. I write lyrics and have an idea of a sound Id like to produce. I am more of a storytelling, lyricist and write my songs in my local dialect. Im looking for a collaboration of ideas. I like the idea of early Jam, early Who, Faces, Arctics, Reytons, Pogues and Celtic Rock But also in there a bit of Paul Heaton. EQUIPMENT
Will get a good set up when required. Can use any microphone through any system or without a system at all.Used to use sennheiser off a Dynachord and a pair of passive speakers. Obviously I have transport. Very creative lyrically.
