"Davy's Gripp" started with the collaboration of Paddy, Darren, Chris and Martyn (initially known as "Full Throttle"), back in 2008. Up until January 2011, Darren was the main vocal input into the band, as well as playing bass, however Richie soon auditioned and the rest, as they say, is history.
Influences from old/classic/hard rock bands shine through in their performances, which helped to secure a place at the Portsmouth Guildhall in August 2010, competing as part of Live and Unsigned UK (Semi-Finals). Since then, its been non-stop rocking up and down the south coast!

Rhythm Guitarist required for a serious original rock band. Applicants must be talented and committed, and passionate about playing original rock music and putting on a good show. The position also comes with band responsibilities which will include taking on other roles for promotion and the like. We are all in our mid to late 20’s and looking for someone around a similar age, although this isn’t essential. Next year we aim to record in the first quarter, and hit the summer time festivals. There a good friendship within the band and a general good sense of humour. The band is based in the Chichester area, but our singer commutes from Crawley.
