I’ve been playing electric guitar, self-taught for about seven years, but just recently decided to switch to drums with the aim to join a band. I have written songs in the past and seem to be getting better at it. I’m currently learning with an electronic kit and am interested in joining a band that wants to develop songs at the pace determined by our skill levels.

Influences
Obviously, blues is a huge influence on me and also jazz, but I want to write original rock songs. Being a black guy, Jimi Hendrix is a big rock influence. Blok Party also, but I like a huge variety of bands and styles, too many to list here. I would like to be a part of a poppy rock band that plays confidently and skilfully. The Beatles are another influence, but more their later stuff, like the white album.
