I've been playing guitar now for around 5/6 years (self taught). I played in one previous band for a few months who weren't that far away from gigging.
My Influences come from bands such as; Scorpions, Helloween, Judas Priest, Edguy, Hammerfall, Stratovarius, Dream Evil, Blind Guardian, Iron Maiden and Motorhead.
I would like to be playing Traditional/Power Metal although I wouldn't rule something like Melodic Death Metal out e.g. Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquillity. Not into Indie, Emo or Nu Metal. I'm looking for like minded individuals to write/record original material and start gigging locally.
