I'm a 39 year old guitar player. Having only started playing about 5-6 years ago and wishing I'd done it much earlier in life, I've packed in a bit over the last few years.
I've been playing lead guitar in a band in Coventry for about 18 months until we went our separate ways a couple of months ago. We played all original material (apart from one cover) and I have gigging as well as recording experience.
I miss playing. Lots. I'm looking to either start a new project or join an existing band in Coventry or the surrounding area (I'd be willing to travel up to half an hour to go to rehearsals etc).
I have all my own gear and am pretty much ready to go! I'd be willing to play original material and/or covers and I can commit to at least one practice session a week. I do have a pretty full-on job which means that I'm not available every weekend but I will gig whenever I can!! Contact dan_m74at

Influences
Very varied. Mainly on the heavier side of things but I like to listen to a lot of music ranging from Blues to Rock, Metal, Pop, Funk etc.
Some of my favorite bands include Alice in Chains, Metallica, Queens of the Stone Age, Killswitch Engage, Foo Fighters, Nirvana and many others.
EQUIPMENT
I have a few guitars (LTD, Ibanez and Dean) and run a Blackstar HT Stage 60 with a few pedals (Blackstar HT dual, Line 6 Uber Metal, Cry baby Wah and the necessary Boss tuner!)
