We are the band Glenn Doran & the Prairie Echoes.
We're a well established band playing early American roots music mainly Country/Hillbilly and some early forms of Rockabilly.
Our current bassist is unfortunately leaving us to go back to Australia quite soon and we have a few gigs that he cant do this year and early next year. He will be returning for a few gigs every now and then but we need someone who is willing to step into that gap when he's back in Australia in the foreseeable future.
Must be a competent double bass player in the style stated above and a general knowledge of the genre.
Being able to sing backing vocals and harmonies would be a bonus but not essential.
We don't play very regular at the moment as we've only just started gigging in the last year but we have already established some good gigs coming up including..

We've also just this weekend come back from a gig at one of the biggest Country music festivals in the UK "The Rockridge Roundup" in Durham.
We have also just recorded our first 7" single on Shelby Recording Co. which is selling fast and has gone down very well with record collectors and DJ's from all over Europe and even further afield.
