Band to Join, Vocalist.ABOUT
I am DESPERATELY seeking to either join forces with a really great rock vocalist (male or female) in the vein of Myles Kennedy....someone with the range to compliment the powerful songs I write
OR
To join a band with similar musical aspirations and musical tastes
(tbh I would actually prefer to join a band)
I would want to join a band that is very driven and geared towards getting somewhere...all I want out of life is to perform awesome rock music for a living!!!!

Influences
As far as playing goes,my influences are vast! I would say my two main influences are Steve Vai and Rusty Cooley (though that is not to say I am ONLY interested in shred....I like to think of my solos as an emalgam of technique and taste...kind of like Steve Vai meets Gary Moore on a stroll past Slash's house.... lol)
Others include John Petrucci,Stevie Ray Vaughn,Yngwie,Randy Rhoads,Guthrie Govan,Paul Gilbert,Shawn Lane,Jason Becker,Todd Duane,Zakk Wylde,Dimebag Darrell(RIP),Slash,Satriani,Steve Morse,Eric Johnson,Greg Howe,Eddie Van Halen etc etc etc......
As far as actual songwriting influences go (ie actual BANDS) I would say my main influences are bands like Alter Bridge,Shinedown and Rev Theory...or any band that play powerful,meaningful rock tunes and awesome ballads that give you goosebumps.....but other than that pretty much ANY decent rock and metal band has relevant influence on me.
EQUIPMENT
Guitar is an Ibanez UV777 (Steve Vai signature "Universe" 7-string)...that is my main axe(and my baby!)
Amp is Laney VH100R (half stack) and that thing is powerful!!
As for effects,I just use a POD X3 Live(full of my own custom sounds)....as you can see, I ain't no gear head...like to keep things simple
