Highly melodic metal from Cumbernauld D3vilmaycry is a very tight and potential filled hard rock band in the vein of Avenged Sevenfold. With tons of vocal harmonies and a truly passionate lead singer D3vilmaycry pull you into their dynamic sound with their vocal chords and don't let you out. Although their sound is occasionally marred by production issues their band is as a whole incredibly tight. I love the sweeping guitar melodies that fly like hummingbirds under the vocal lines. They create a genuine depth to the music and a really interesting top end. This is nicely counteracted by the thudding of the bass and aggressive drums which allow for a solid bottom portion of the sound. To finish, D3vilmaycry is a refined modern metal band and with a bit more money to polish up their sound it seems like these guys would be able to take on the world. For fans of modern Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold and even Guns n Roses D3vilmaycry's excellent brand of heavy metal should appease even the most dedicated fans!
