Country music mad drummer seeking other country music loving musicians to set up a new country band.
I want to create a band that can vary its style to include some traditional country, along with some of the more rootsy and rockier country, (but NOT that pop/R&B stuff that seems to be passing off as country nowadays!).
We'd be a cover band, but not to a point where we slavishly copy other artist's music. It would be cool to put our own stamp on the songs we play, and of course, if we can create some original music too then that would be perfect!

I used to play in a 50s/60s rock n roll band in Essex about 14 years ago, but my passion has always been country.
