Band to Join.ABOUT
I'm a student studying Popular Music in my 2nd year.
I am now into my 10th year of playing the drums and I'm seeking a new project. Be it recording work or a new band, I'm in!
What I'd really like is a melodic/atmospheric band or a group of people that are not afraid to experiment with odd structures time signatures and electronics.
I also don't mind helping solo artists out with their music. I'm quite versatile when it comes to genres and styles and usually adapt well in the studio!
I listen to a lot of Radiohead, Deccies, Frank Ocean, Toro Y Moi, Coldplay, Netsky, Interpol and Everything Everything although this isn't necessarily what you have to be into. Just the willingness to try new ideas and gig a lot would be enough.
What I DON'T want is your typical Manchester styled band. Sorry but Oasis, The Smiths and the Stone Roses are all good but I'm not interested!
Commitment is everything. Without it a music is nothing!
