Ex-pro keyboard player looking for a soul/funk/grooves covers band, or a singer songwriter for co-writing.
I tend to prefer grooves, but also happy to consider other genres (especially for writing).
Been playing in a five-piece funk and soul covers band before I moved to this area, but then a pause and lockdown - now want to start playing again.
Can run to some fusion, avant groove and jazz/funk/latin, but would require 'some oil on the rust' :)

Influences

Been described as a 'stomping time and groove merchant'... not sure what influences that, but I work well with tight bands, especially if they put their own stamp on the feel.
But also like Joni Mitchell, Meters, Parliament, Medeski Martin & Wood, John Scofield... and so forth...
