ABOUT

I am a singer-songwriter. I was classically trained as a pianist. I have been in cover bands as well as original's. I am now concentrating on my solo career. Having finished recording an acoustic EP, i am looking to gig, and also looking for representation (manager, label).
I am here for networking and also looking for basist and drummer.

Influences

My influences go from classical music (Debussy), to rock (Radiohead, Smashing Pumkins, Alanis Morissette), to folk (Joni Mitchel), to modern piano based soloa rtists (Vanssa Carlton, Rufus & Martha Wainwright, Tori Amos), to electronica (Air, Bjork). I also like old school stuff (The Doors, The Beach Boys).
I'd like to think that i have embrased these influences and created my own style...

These are my main toys: Roland RD 700 xs stage piano; SM 58 Dynamic mic; Rode NT2a condencer mic; Tascam 8 tracks digital recorder; Behringer 8 tracks mixer; I use Sonar to sequence, and also have various other bibs and bobs...
