SEEKINGBand to Join, Vocalist, Bass Guitar, Drums.
I have just self-released my debut 'Six Feet Under EP' (links below) and I'm currently seeking live band members (as well as mixing/mastering opportunities).
I'd love to put together a group of passionate musicians, preferably of varied musical backgrounds - vocalist, drummer and bassist. The other, less classic option is a two-piece collaboration (the-white-stripes-royal-blood-21-pilots-kind-of-thing) or I can join an established band as a rhythm guitarist as well. It all depends on how well our musical visions will work together, you can't tell until you try.
I have no professional background, I am not a virtuoso, and I don't expect it from people I'm looking to play with. To me it's all about:
-being unique and focusing on your own way to express as a musician,
-being committed as a band member,
-being able to shape the character of the band creatively.
Goals set for the band would be simple: practice as much as possible (definitely on weekends, maybe during the week - all due to a full time job), start gigging (short 30-min set will do for now) and work on a full length album. I'd like it to be more 'sludgy' sounding and definitely a bit heavier than my EP, with a dark and powerful male vocal.
If you're a vocalist, try and see if you feel comfortable singing with my instrumental tracks, maybe you could record a sketch and send it over? Our own rehearsal place would be a great asset, but there's plenty of rooms for hire in the area. I also own a car, so I can commute within a reasonable distance.
Sounds good? Don't be shy and let me know if you want to be a part of this (or if you want me to become a part of YOUR project). Feel free to attach samples of your ideas, so we both know where we're coming from.

FEAR OF LIFE
FEAR OF LIFEOne day, I saw a child playing with a ruby the size of a tangerine. The bandit had been throwing them away. [So why steal them?] Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn. 3 DAYS OF SUMMER
3 DAYS OF SUMMERDebut home recording project by an enthusiast musician and music producer. All music written, performed and produced by Michal Kubacki As much as I'd love to achieve a perfect sounding record, I also believe that the ultimate value of any music is what it F E E L S like. I created this album without professional audio training or high-end studio gear, hoping that in a world of plastic, overproduced records it will not necessarily be considered 'a bad thing'. So, this album is a story. Inspired by reality, though trying to help you escape from it. Or to make it a little bit more bearable. Anyway, it’s a journey. It'll take you through anxiety and belief, sadness and joy, anger and calm… Let’s hope you’ll find something to hold on to along the way. And remember. Your world needs you ...to stay CONSCIOUS.
THE MASK OF SANITY
THE MASK OF SANITYThere are no more barriers to cross. All I have in common with the uncontrollable and the insane, the vicious and the evil, all the mayhem I have caused and my utter indifference toward it I have now surpassed. My pain is constant and sharp and I do not hope for a better world for anyone, in fact I want my pain to be inflicted on others. I want no one to escape, but even after admitting this there is no catharsis, my punishment continues to elude me and I gain no deeper knowledge of myself; no new knowledge can be extracted from my telling. This confession has meant nothing. [I simply am not there.] I have all the characteristics of a human being: blood, flesh, skin, hair; but not a single, clear, identifiable emotion, except for greed and disgust. Something horrible is happening inside of me and I don't know why. My nightly bloodlust has overflown into my days. I feel lethal, on the verge of frenzy. I think my mask of sanity is about to slip. [Samples from ‘American Psycho’ by Mary Harron]
DISTORTION OF REALITY
DISTORTION OF REALITY[God can help you] Is that what God does? He helps? Tell me, why didn't God help my innocent friend who died for no reason while the guilty ran free? Okay. Fine. Forget the one offs. How about the countless wars declared in his name? Okay. Fine. Let's skip the random, meaningless murder for a second, shall we? How about the racist, sexist, phobia soup we've all been drowning in because of him? And I'm not just talking about Jesus. I'm talking about all organized religion. Exclusive groups created to manage control. A dealer getting people hooked on the drug of hope. His followers, nothing but addicts who want their hit of bullshit to keep their dopamine of ignorance. Addicts. Afraid to believe the truth. That there's no order. There's no power. That all religions are just metastasizing mind worms, meant to divide us so it's easier to rule us by the charlatans that wanna run us. All we are to them are paying fanboys of their poorly-written sci-fi franchise. If I don't listen to my imaginary friend, why the fuck should I listen to yours? People think their worship's some key to happiness. That's just how he owns you. Even I'm not crazy enough to believe that distortion of reality. So fuck God. He's not a good enough scapegoat for me.
