We are a gigging seven piece band playing original material ranging from rock through to reggae, bossa nova and jazz.
We are currently looking for a committed keyboard player.
We are not looking for any session musicians.
We get paid either a flat fee by some establishments or a percentage of the door or bar takings. Everything the band earns gets put back in the band such as rehearsal costs etc.
We rehearse Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the Peckham/ New Cross area.
We have a gig on the 29th of April and three further gigs in May so we need to get a move on with auditions etc. We have a friend helping us out on keyboards just now but they want to concentrate their efforts on other art projects and therefore we need to have a committed keys player almost straight away! You do not need to have a keyboard for rehearsals but it would be nice if you had one for gigs and also transport of some kind, although this is not essential.
Our lineup is guitar, electric bass, keyboards, drums, trumpet, alto sax and a main vocalist.
