Drummer and guitarist/vocalist looking for an amateur bass player to complete grunge/alt rock band (we'd also consider a lead guitarist, but we're mainly looking for a bass guitarist). We're looking for someone with minimal or no experience being in a band, preferably in their early 20s.
We plan to write original songs and maybe do a cover or two. We're less concerned with technical accuracy and music theory and more interested in just making noise that sounds cool, inspired by bands like Nirvana, Sonic Youth, The Pixies, The Jesus Lizard, Mudhoney, Wipers, and Black Flag.
We're looking for someone amateur because we're also amateurs, in fact we've only practiced once so far cos we haven't been able to find a dedicated bass player, so if you wanna hang out and make some sh*tty noise then get in touch.
