The Song Of Nothing
The Song Of Nothing Year: 2025 Album: London Life Genre: Rock
The Song Of Nothing is the first single of our next upcoming album "London Life". It is about the choice of moving in a new big city like London, putting the focus on the feelings and on the compromises that are implied by this choice. Opportunities, dreams, expectations on one side; sorrows, struggles and failures on the other. We had everything in our hands, but soon we realised that everything is nothing. The Song Of Nothing is highly influenced by the early Pink Floyd sound, The Cure and Black Sabbath exploring the nuances of psychedelia with very-catchy riffs. The use of synths makes the sound deeper recalling gothic and melancholic atmospheres from the 80’s new wave. The song is available in two versions, the extended and the radio edit. The Intro in the extended version is fully improvised and takes the listener by the hand, allowing them to personally experience the frustration that the song aims to communicate.
