ABOUT

I'm an experienced musician, been playing in bands both live and in the studio for over 20 years on and off.
In my last few bands I have played bass but my first instrument was drums and I'd love to have a chance to get on them again. I also play guitar but mainly acoustic and have written quite a few acoustic pop songs.

I have a degree in music where I focused on composing and a foundation degree in music performance.
I am also a keen producer. I have the gear to record full bands and have produced EP's for my bands before.

I am looking to start a band with ambition. It's always been my dream to have a career writing and playing music and I am still working towards that.
I'm cool with most genres and would be up for throwing ideas together and seeing what comes out of it. If your up for trying to put something together, please send me a message.

Influences

Too any influences to name. I've played in punk, metal, rock and indie bands on various instruments. I've also written a bunch of acoustic pop songs and produced house music.

My drumming idol is Travis Barker but growing up my music obsessions flitted between Travis and Linkin Park. In uni I based an entire essay on Royal Blood, wrote my dissertation about the evolution of pop-punk and composed a dubstep backing track for for one of my acoustic songs so that should give you a sense of how weird my music taste is.
