We are Chronovore. Based in Swansea, we transcend genre boundaries, blending melodic post-metal, progressive depth, ambient synths, and clean vocals to explore deep, introspective themes through a sci-fi lens.
We’re in our 30s and play because we genuinely love it. Music is a huge part of our lives, but we’re not chasing fame. Our main goal is to have a great time together making heavy, melodic, meaningful music.
Our rehearsals are supportive, relaxed, and ego-free. We care about improving, showing up prepared, and honing our skills, but we do it at a sustainable pace that respects life outside the band. No burnout, no pressure. We value consistency, dedication, and fun.
We currently have a few original songs and practice them once a week with a backing track. The aim is to tighten the material, keep growing as musicians, and take the music live when it feels right. We also have songs in progress.
