I live not far outside of Glasgow and am looking for a band from around the Invercylde/Glasgow/West coast area. My main goal is to enter the cheese fest that is folk and battle metal with a strong power metal influence.
At the moment I have some song ideas floating about so I'm looking for a full band to form and play with (in a music sense, but also down the park). If you play bass, guitar, drums, keyboard, violin etc get in contact! Looking for folk to be in the rough age bracket I'm in but as long as they're committed I'm happy.

Influences
In terms of heavy bands everything from NWOBHM to folk metal, power metal, death metal, thrash, black etc. Favourite bands include Maiden, Sabaton, Turisas etc so looking for a band that can draw influence from that sort of sound.
I also love the non wanky shredders like Satch and Gilbert and enjoy a lot of the old classic rock bands that you find on many fathers day Rock CDs (though we will never cover All right Now!)
