hi I am a self tought guitarist and i started playing about 6 years ago, I would put myself in a fairly mediocre skill level purely because I feel my playing is still quite rough around the edges although fairly competant enough to write my own guitar peices.I like to play both electric and acoustic guitar due to varied musical influences and I'm only really interested in playing original peices although i do know alot of songs i have learnt along the way.
From past experience i feel that i am best writing in a band environment (i do have some material) where its easier to bounce ideas back and forth
