Wolverton Town Band is the oldest brass band in the Milton Keynes area. It has been through a bad period of dwindling members but is now picking up. We have a new MD (Paul Welch, previously of the Irish Guards) and lots of learners. We really need some experienced players who can come in and help pull things together.

Members Of Band
At present we have 13 players of varying levels of experience and 9 learners (some just beginners). Everyone is very friendly and the whole band acts as the committee, thus making decisions together.
EQUIPMENT
Every member of the band is issued with an instrument for their use for as long as they remain with the band. This is free of charge. There is a reasonable drum kit and two timpani plus various other percussion pieces. At the moment, we have spare cornets (not trumpets as we don't play them), Baritone, Euphonium, Trombones, Eb and Bb Tubas and a Flugel.
