Looking for a lead guitarist (and if you play keyboard too that would be even better!)
We're a 5 piece South Nottingham based covers band – with Drums, bass, 2 lead electric guitars and one electric/acoustic rhythm guitar (depending on the track). We've been going four years and gig about once a month in a combination of pubs, weddings and parties – mostly within an hour’s drive of Nottingham. We have our own quality PA rig.
We’re (mostly) 40 somethings and play to a good standard – doing mostly rock and some pop covers from the 50’s to the present day. Our repertoire is over 40 tracks now – the list is on our website. We aim to put on a good show but also to have some fun while we’re at it. More details can be seen on www.aceinhibitors.co.uk .
One of our guitarists is just off to University (he's obviously a bit younger than the rest of us!) so we're looking for someone who can play lead – and ideally help out with backing vocals. It may be asking a lot but we'd also like the option to add a keyboard to some of our tracks so if you can turn your hand to that as well then that would be even better.
