My name is Chatonda Ridley (everyone calls me Chats for short) I’m a bass and double bass player. I’m looking to start or join a band with some people around Scotland (hopefully near Edinburgh). I’m not too fussed about what we play style wise it’s more just getting into it and making whatever style we do end up playing sound good!

Too many to list! I really like a lot of different styles of music and I play a lot of different things so it honestly varies.
People tell me they can hear a lot of flea in my playing if it’s more rock funk stuff. They usually say I sound a bit more John Paul Jones like for blues and no one has ever commented on my jazz styles, haha.

Bass Guitar:
Upright bass:

Amps & heads:
Fender Rumble 100 combo amp
Ashdown 300 Head
I have a few more things in the arsenal but I figured I’d list what I use the most.

Sire V7 Marcus Miller Signature (5 string of choice)
Harelequin Rockabilly 3/4 (double bass of choice)
