I play lead guitar and write, and am interested in a collaboration with one or more musicians to create new music based loosely around rock but with a progressive mindset - by which I mean willing to explore lots of ideas without pursuing stereotypes. This wouldn't be noodly 20 minute prog songs but would emphasise melody, harmony and rhythm. Other than these sketchy startup ideas, I'm open to a democratic process.
Live performance would be the focus, although recording is another avenue to explore.
I'm happy to discuss this with anyone who might be interested regardless of which instruments you may play, the key characteristics being creativity and a willingness to try some different ideas.

Influences
Deep Purple were an early influence, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Supertramp, 10cc, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Steven Wilson, iamthemorning, MonkleyTrial, Howard Shore.
Progressive/alternative music of all sorts but with the emphasis on a contemporary sound, good tunes and a modern approach rather than a replication of 70s-era Prog.

Strandberg Boden Prog NX 6 and Standard NX 6, Fender Stratocaster, Line 6 Helix LT digital amp/effects modeller. Various other bits & pieces for live performance.
I also play a Nord Stage 2, although not very well.
I've used Logic Pro for 10 years+.
