ABOUT

I'm open minded when it comes to music both in my listening and playing. Over the years, my taste and appreciation of music has broadened & expanded. I've performed lots of live gigs and have recorded original work. I studied for an NDP in performing arts and music when I was 19/20. My teacher had worked with the likes of Radiohead and jools Holland and his teaching technique has had a lasting impact on me. Keeping an open mind with music and ideas. I would like to collaborate and put together an original band to have some fun and create some amazing music. Music we enjoy playing ourselves

Influences

At the age of around 8, I found my mothers vinyl records. The Motown story was often played and back then, the words to the songs were often written inside the sleeve, enabling me to sing along. Growing up in the north of England, in the late 80's early 90's, the grunge scene was always a huge influence. My go to music is Reggae (obscure). As I mentioned. My influences don't necessarily dictate how or what I write. I have my own method and structure on how I approach song writing. I graduated last year for a BA (hons) in Creative and Professional writing. This has added an extra string to my bow when it comes to writing and composing my own music.
