I'm CC Lewis, looking to form a band within a year or so. I feel I need more time to grow as a musician first, but watch this space!
As of right now, I play acoustic and electric guitar. My first love was the bass, so I'm slightly more proficient with that.
Predominantly though, I'm a singer. I've been singing more or less 5 years and look to play either bass or rhythm guitar as well as lead vocals in any band I'm a part of.

Influences
My influences are many, of varying degrees. I try not to draw too heavily from anyone in particular, imitation may be the most sincere form of flattery, but it'll get you lynched if too many people cotton on to you stealing another band's music.
To name a few, my main influences would be James Labrie, Devin Townsend, Dave Grohl and Kurt Cobain.
EQUIPMENT
Well, on my modest budget, I only have so much. Although I'm always looking to expand and upgrade, whenever monetary issues are at a minimum.
Currently I have:
A Yamaha 4-string bass, 3 years old
A black Ibanez Gio w/ reverse headstock
Bog-standard cheap acoustic guitar, looking to upgrade soon.
But not before I get myself a decent acoustic bass.
Amp-wise, I only have an old bass amp I got off a mate and a Line-6 15-watter.
