We are an originals indie rock/pop band based in Bedfordshire, looking for a new bass player to join our ranks. Our aim is to write, record and perform (when Covid allows!) original melodic indie songs that we love to play and others want to hear, whilst enjoying our time in the band as much as we can.
In the past we have performed at open mic nights in Bedford and MK and we have kept busy during lockdown by recording self-produced demos and writing songs. You can hear our two demos here: https://soundcloud/carbon-daydreams
These songs have gained radio play on local stations and have been received with enthusiasm. Once we have our new bass player we intend to record and release more singles – this time in a recording studio.
We're looking for someone committed who can write melodic and interesting bass lines. Age and gender are not important (we're currently a mix of both), but the desire to perform live and have fun are essential. We tend to rehearse once a week in the Bedfordshire area.
hopefully that's decipherable!

UptownUptown is our second self-produced lockdown release in 4 weeks. It’s a high-octane indie rock song with lush, melodic picked guitar lines and a pounding rhythm section. The song was originally co-written with our friends and former band mates Pete Bunting and Dave McGill. Bruce has developed the lyrics and vocal parts, and made them his own. Bruce - Vocals Dave - Bass Jess - Guitar Neal - Drums Mixed, mastered and produced by Dave McGill.
ReasonsReasons has a pulsating energy and jangle rock feel of 80s indie. Beautiful clean, picked guitar parts mesh perfectly with a wandering melodic bass line offset by bittersweet lyrics. This song was written with our friend and former bandmate Dave McGill. Bruce Wigg - vocals David McGill - bass Jess Wood - guitar Neal Cannell - drums Mixed, mastered and produced by Dave McGill.
