I'm a very average guitarist, trying to get back on form after a break from guitar. Chops may be modest but enthusiasm, commitment and attitude are great.
Currently gigging in a soul/rock band, but only occasionally because of other members' outside commitments. I want to play more so I'm looking to start or join another band.
I play rock, punk, soul, blues, folk etc etc. I enjoy rhythm guitar more than lead although I do both in the current band.
Although I'll have a go at most things as long as they're fun, I'm particularly interested in making music with a political edge - anarchism, socialism etc. Doesn't have to be punk though. I won't work with racists, LGBTphobes or right wing groups.

EQUIPMENT
Good, reliable, inexpensive guitars (Squier Classic Vibe Strat, Epiphone SG). I don't buy expensive guitars because I modify and rewire them extensively to my own requirements and would wreck their resale value!
Orange CR60C amplifier and PPC112 extension cab (mini stack); Orange CR35RT combo for small gigs and jams; various effects, mics, mic stands etc
