Influences
In drumming terms too many to list but Neil Peart is the first drummer who really caught my ear and probably the reason I play drums but I could listen to Bonham, Phillips, Cobham, Rich, Lang etc forever! Massive fan of Benny Greb at the moment.
Musically I am reasonably open minded and would consider most things. I started drumming in heavy rock covers bands, that has mellowed with age to rock/pop/soul/blues/punk covers. More recently I have been playing mostly original stuff.
EQUIPMENT
See the photo but it is a 5/6 Piece kit made up of a Pearl Export ELX 5 piece fusion kit finished in wine red, 22in bass drum, 10 & 12in top toms 14in floor. 14in snare or 13in picolo main snare. Secondary 10in popcorn snare. I quite like playing it as a 4 piece as I have reciently converted back to trad playing also.
Cymbals are Sabian aax main crash cymbals in 16 and 18in. 20in Zildjian earth ride (probably going to change that). 13in aax main high hats. 8in splash's. Stag 14in china.
