Hello, my name is Cameron; I am a bassist/lyricist who is unconfident with their playing ability and hopes that by being apart of this website I can find people who can help me with this delema.
This site is my last resort as I have tried other methods of trying to form any type of musical project but failed as I was not interested in creating the type of music they desired to make, and vice versa; I am hoping to create music of a more progressive, and technical nature.
When it comes to progressive music I am more of a fan of the tradition, classic prog bands e.g. "Genesis", "yes","Jethro tull", "king crimson", "gentle giant", "rush", and "Emerson, Lake & Palmer; however this does not mean that I am not a fan of modern day progressive groups as I am a fan of "dream theatre","symphony x", "opeth","tool", and "mastodon"; also when it comes to my musical preferences, I like to be colective, and open minded to all genres.

My influences when it come to playimg bass include: Jack Bruce (cream), Geezer Butler (black sabbath), Willie Dixon, John Entwhistle (the who), Steve Haris (Iron maiden),Geddy Lee (Rush), Paul McCartney (the Beatles), Charles Mingus, John Mung (dream theatre), John Paul Jones (led zeppelin) and Jaco Pastorius (weather report).

EQUIPMENT
Currently I use two bass ( a cheap recreation of a fender jazz precession bass, which I call "Frances", along with a bass that I can not seem to remember what model it is but I have named "Olypia", also I have what I believe is a 250 watt amplifier, and I do not use pedals as they quite intimidating to me.
