Born Silenced is a heavy metal band from Leeds, UK.
The band started in 2005 as Born Silence, but parted ways in 2006.
In 2009, Rich changed the name to Born Silenced and made it his own music project. In 2014, the original line up agreed to get back together as Born Silenced.
Full History
In 2005 the line-up started with Richard Kenny doing guitar, Steve Handley doing vocals, Phil Cossins doing vocals, Jon Handley on bass, and Nathaniel Richards on drums.
Shortly after the formation, Nathaniel departed the band, and Rich Kenny moved on to do drums, and Phil Cossins took over doing guitar. This was the solid line-up.
After recording a 10 track album in 2005 the band parted ways due to musical differences.
Over the years Rich Kenny had drummed in various bands, but at the end of 2009 he made up his mind that he wanted produce the music of an album by himself, and changed the name from Born Silence to Born Silenced.
He created a 8 track instrumental album on his own, and released it for free download.
In 2014 the original solid line-up (Rich, Phil, Steve & Jon) have all agreed to get back together and start practising to see how things go from there.
