We are a blues/rock band based in Bucks (Wycombe, Aylesbury, Milton Keynes) and we've been playing the UK (and occasionally European) blues club and festival circuit for some years with a set of mostly original material. We've made three cd's, been featured on Paul Jones' blues show on Radio 2, received almost always great reviews in the blues press, but our material has always been a bit 'challenging' for many blues fans and promotors!
So.. we've decided it's time for a bit of a change and we're 're-branding' to become a more covers-based, 'good time' rocking blues band. We have the experience, the chops, the gear and the contacts, but no singer at present.
We need a frontman/woman vocalist with personality and a big voice (and maybe guitar) to front the band. We aim to be gigging maybe four or five times a month (we have other jobs and bands too) around the UK blues scene, as well as recording, etc. If this sounds like it might be of interest, please get in touch! www.stormwarning.co.uk
