The UK's longest-running Blur tribute.

Due to family commitments our singer is reluctantly leaving us in mid 2019 and we are on the look-out for a new Damon Albarn to front the band.

We're a friendly team who love what we do and have a lot of fun.

We have a 10-year history of gigs behind us that include The Isle of Wight festival, Pennfest, Tribfest, Dublin Academy, the Madchester events, Newcastle's famous Cluny, Santa Pod BugJam, Shiiine On Weekenders and a live TV performance on Children in Need to an audience of millions of viewers.

The ideal candidate would firstly be able to sound like Damon Albarn. If you look similar through squinted eyes that would also be a massive plus, but the voice and the presence is what's really needed. Age is not hugely important - you might be younger Damon or older Damon.

Previous band/gig experience isn’t essential, but is desirable, as is being based in or around Oxford/Oxfordshire (but you're welcome to contact us from elsewhere too of course!). We need someone who sounds right and has the confidence and presence to throw all the shapes with the right levels of energy to continue the trajectory of the band.

We deliberately maintain a non-hectic gig schedule (usually around one per month, but it varies depending on the gig offers), and we're not looking to retire on it - we all have jobs too - but we do play all over the country at all kinds of events, so commitment, reliability and flexibility is a must.

We're a supportive bunch and more than happy to rehearse as much as is required to get a new singer gig-ready.
