ABOUT

I'd consider myself more of a Guitarist than anything else, with 5-string banjo and Ukulele coming in close 2nd. But I do enjoy Mandolin, Bass, Cello, Dulcimer, Autoharp and Lapsteel. As of late I've been getting into the accordion and Concertina, both Anglo and English

I play mostly country and folk stuff. I'll play anything if it's enjoyable! My arrangements tend to come out ragtimey or country esq. I'm mostly acoustic but that's just because it annoys my parents less haha! Please check out my music on here and hit me up if you wanna jam!

Influences

I absolutely love fancy guitar work seen with lots of country guitarists such as Jerry Reed and Chet Atkins. I'm also a huge fan of Mark Knopflers folk side of music.

I have a great interest in English folk music, from the more serious side of the spectrum with Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span, to the more light hearted Jake Thackray and Mike Harding songs when I feel like singing.

Absolutely adore the likes of Earl Scruggs, Bill Monroe and Lester Flatt. When it comes to ukulele I'm influenced by Roy Smeck and Joe Brown. Currently delving into early Hawaiian lapsteel and the American Primitive guitar work of John Fahey.

EQUIPMENT

I have too many instruments. Mostly acoustic instruments. Most notable would be my Framus 'Triumph' archtop and my 70s EKO ranger. But I've got all sorts, all cheap and cheerful, and far too many for my own good. 34 instruments in total if we don't count the harmonicas!

Doesn't help that I keep making more!
