My first paid gig was in the 60s as lead guitarist with The Strangers.
Since then I have played both bass and guitar in blues bands, guitar in a "django" band, guitar and banjo in trad jazz bands, drums, guitar, mandolin and bass in ceilidh bands, and a huge amount of acoustic guitar as part of a folk duo. I currently work with a pan-European band and in the backing band for a song writer. My guitar and bass vocals have features on several chart successes.
