Played Bass in Jazz, Rock, Funk, Indie and 60's bands over the years, and enjoyed them all. My centre is in pop-rock, funk, disco and motown but happy to slide into the heavier rock world and enjoy it all the same. I read Bass notation ok but largely play by ear.
Reasonably solid on band Vocals (primarily BVs) but have also sung classically in choirs, chamber groups and a barber shop 10 piece!
As an accomplished brass player I’ve played a range of instruments from trumpet / cornet to tuba, but centre on Euphonium (grade 8 +) & Trombone.
Not a drummer per se but coming from a family of drummers I can nail it to the floor and keep it interesting - the influnce helps with the engine room on Bass.
Regrettably stopped organ / piano lessons in my teens so not a great reader, but I can work my way round ok on chords and shapes. Not my main instrument but works to fill bits in as a secondary instrument to Bass when needed!
