Band to Join, Vocalist, Lead Guitar, Keyboard, Piano.ABOUT
We are a bassist and drummer forming a 4/5 piece covers band to work the cruise ship circuit.
We're looking for lead vocals (male or female) and either two guitars or guitar and keys. Ability to perform backing vocal duties will obviously be well regarded.
You will need to be able to commit to a month where we'll book practice space and work 9-5 (or whatever hours suit us best!) working on a set list of around 100 songs, while also attending auditions to earn our first contract. This will mean that you'll need to be able to provide for yourself financially, and have the skills and determination to follow through with your work, mastering a large quantity of songs in a short space of time.
Typical contracts range from £1300-1600 per month, with room and board on the ship included, and usually last from 3 to 6 months.
We're based in the Midlands, and I'm aiming to centre the preparatory phase around Birmingham, for ease of travel for all involved.

Influences
It'll be a very broad line up of hits, with the ability to play a number of different sets, including jazz, blues, 70's, 80's, 90's, etc.
We're open to input, but remember the target audience of the cruise goers is unlikely to include deep house or acid jazz. Unfortunately.
