I'm looking to get back into playing in a band.
Used to play in a local band that never really took off anywhere, however we recorded a 5 track E.P, played with some pretty cool bands and with the the time spent, i learned a lot.
I actually live around the Dunmow/Braintree area, but i work in Colchester, so that wouldn't be a problem to practice after work.
I've been without a band for about 3 years now, and i'm really starting to miss it.
I'm not up for something that's gonna get real serious really fast, but if things click, that's what's important! Not forcing the progress!
I'm mostly a rhythm player (lead has never been a passion of mine), but i'm hopefully looking to find a band where i can be inspired by the others, and progress as a musician whilst contributing to the project.

I work 5 days out of 7 (including Saturdays) until about 7pm, so evening-late practices would have to be on the cards, with one day a week being free all day.

Influences
I listen to a lot of Deathcore, Metal (what IS metal these days!?) and hardcore sorta stuff. Think Emmure, Whitechapel, Asking Alexandria, For The Fallen Dreams, A Day To Remember, Attack Attack!, Your Demise... I'd like to get into a project where the sound is similar to this. Very open to the idea of synth-core sort of sounds too.
I'm not a close-minded guy, so i'm very open to suggestions and ideas.
