ABOUT

Vibrant Street Percussion band seeking drummers to learn to play Brazilian style snare drum in our large street band, Banda Na Rua.

Instruments and tuition provided but a good level of percussion experience (or good right left coordination from piano playing) is needed as a foundation. We welcome interest from any age - our current age range is 13 to 73!

Rehearsals Fridays, 7.30-9.30pm in Honley, HD9 6QT.

Influences

Banda Na Rua is a Brazilian and modern Street Percussion Band. A mass of drummers playing a fusion of traditional rhythms and funk and hiphop beats with carnival-level energy. The 20-40 performers we really make an impact with our carnival level energy.
