ROARK are a Band from England's most North Easterly Town Berwick upon Tweed. Created in 2019 and born out of a love of guitar, tone and the importance of space for each instrument by co-founders Marcus Paine and Nick Holmes. After honing the sound for around 8 months they wrote an initial batch of songs and invited vocalists Tamsin Davidson and Sophie Armstrong to join and perform them as a stripped back 4 piece locally, quickly getting noticed for their approach and original material, and also to develop the idea of heading into the Studio to create more highly developed versions of them.
Early 2022 saw the band recruit Lara Hindhough on BASS and Russell Jalland on Drums and embark on recording their debut Album PELFORTH POOLSIDE DUSK, 80 minutes of 12 original songs and 13 linking interludes. The first two singles "Winter Song" and "Gone But Not Forgotten" were released on all the major streaming platforms during February/March 2023 with the album and further Singles due for release in the coming months.

Influences across the Band Sound are broad and include elements of Alt, Blues, Rock, Americana and Singer Songwriter type Folk and span styles from the 60’s/70’s right through to the current day.
